The course lasted 15 hours and took place at the Faculty of Arts of the UdG, from July 11 to 15, 2005.
During the course we studied the changes caused by the growing influence of ecology in the political agendas in Catalonia and around the world, which make necessary an in-depth reflection on issues such as econationalism, the values implicit in environmentalism, the new management of the natural environment and landscape, etc. This course aimed to open a debate on the biopolitical criteria and cultural patterns implicit in the relationship between humans and nature.
The professors who taught the course were Josep Puig, Santiago Vilanova, Francesc Roma, Xavier Garcia, Jordi Pigem, Xavier Borràs, Enric Faura. Albert Escriu and Ramon Alcoberro coordinated the course.
