Love, friendship and enthusiasm

This course, organized by the Ferrater Mora Chair at a distance and online, in collaboration with the philosophy portal www.terricabras-filosofia.info, took place from April 23 to May 14, 2012 and was attended by 109 students.

Often the best way to face the future is to take a look at the past. To this end, it seems that the best way to ask ourselves about the values that should govern our lives at the beginning of the third millennium is to review the values that have been in force up to now in order to build a new edifice of values, which is not the result of uncritical impositions but of slow and mature reflection. In this case (ten courses on values had already been offered in the past), the values of love, friendship and enthusiasm were dealt with, with the participation of professors Oriol Farrés (University of Girona), Jordi Pedret (Professor of Philosophy at St. Peter’s School in Barcelona), Josep Soler (Professor of Philosophy), coordinated by Esteve Gràcia (University of Barcelona), with the following program:
