On Monday, May 11, at 6pm, in the Sala de Graus of the Faculty of Arts of the UdG, Professor Arcadi Oliveres gave a speech on human rights and education in an event of the campaign “Education is not a crime”, which aims to raise awareness of the situation being experienced by teachers and university students in Iran, who are denied the right to access to university.

In addition to Arcadi Oliveres’ speech, the documentary “Lighting a Candle” by Iranian director Maziar Bahari was screened.
