The Ferrater Mora Chair coordinated the committee to pay tribute to Josep-Maria Terricabras on the occasion of his retirement as a professor at the University of Girona, where he has become an emeritus professor.

On Thursday, 17 November (International Philosophy Day), the event took place where Josep Maria Terricabras gave his lectio ultima with the title “Tot és provisional” in the Graduate Room of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Girona. Also taking part in the event were Dr. Sergi Bonet (Rector of the UdG), Dr. Josep Lluís Prades (Director of the Department of Philosophy) and Dr. Josep Gordi (Dean of the Faculty of Arts), who praised Dr. Terricabras’ personal and professional career.

During the ceremony, Joan Pagès, coordinator of the Faculty of Philosophy, presented the book of homage to Terricabras Cogitare aude, as well as the original drawing that illustrates the cover of the book by its author, the artist Perejaume. The book, coordinated from the Ferrater Mora Chair, collects a miscellany of texts from 48 authors that have had an impact on the life and professional career of Prof. Terricabras.
