Roundtable "Merlin, what, excites or gives down?"

On Wednesday, January 25, 2017 took place at the Cultural Center La Mercè the debate-roundtable on the TV3 series Merlin, with the title “Merlin, ¿què? Does it excite or gives down?”. We were interested in raising the question of whether the series did “a good” or “a bad” in philosophy, in general, and in the teaching of philosophy, in particular.

The debate counted with the participation of Nemrod Carrasco (Professor of Philosophy at the UB and philosophical advisor to Merlin) and secondary school teachers Esther Cruañas (Illa de Rodas Institute, Roses), Xavier Serra (Salvador Espriu Institute, Salt, Esther Vilalta (INS, Cassà de la Selva) and Joan Cortada (Montilivi Institute, Girona).
