On May 7 and 8, 2004, the Conference on Didactics of Philosophy took place at the headquarters of the University of Girona Foundation: Innovation and Training.

The Didactics of Philosophy as a specific discipline is recent. In this sense, it was necessary and urgent to establish the bridges that allow to carry out exchanges between scholars and professionals from different countries and to open a space for reflection on the teaching of philosophy. This conference offered a point of contact between researchers, philosophy professors and students that made possible the exchange of opinions, materials and methodologies on teaching practice.

On Thursday, May 6, Professor Michel Tozzi gave a public lecture on Le rôle du philosophe dans la cité: l’exemple du “cafè-philo”, at the Centre Cultural La Mercè.
