Alain Touraine

Professor Alain Touraine from the Centre d’Analyse et d’Intervention Sociologiques in Paris is one of the most influential and prestigious social thinkers in Europe. The current content and significance of his work arouses interest worldwide. After a first stage of theoretical sociology and a second of regional sociology, Professor Touraine has developed a reflection of social and political philosophy of the highest interest.
