Seminar “Self-determination: failures and successes”
On 5 December 2019, the Ferrater Mora Chair organised the international seminar “Self-determination: failures and successes”, which took place at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. All the members of the research group led by the Ferrater Mora Chair on “Legitimacy, the day after the process: a comparative and normative analysis” (Ref. 2017 IEA 00007; financed by the Institute of Self-government Studies of the Generalitat of Catalonia) participated and three guest researchers were also present: Soeren Keil (Canterbury Christ Church University), Andreas Oldenburg (Freie Universität Berlin) and Jule Goikoetxea (University of the Basque Country / EHU). This seminar was the closing event of the research project, and was open to the attendance of external researchers, without seeking non-specialist assistance in the field.
