IV Catalonia Workshop in Political Theory

The University of Girona invites submissions for the IV Catalonia Workshop in Political Theory (formerly the Barcelona Workshop in Political Theory), a forum for ·the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge research in polit·ical theory, both abstract and applied.

The workshop is open to scholars at all career stages, with priority given to early-career researchers. This event offers participants an excellent opportunity to present their work, receive feedback from peers and senior scholars, and engage in enriching discussions in a vibrant academic setting.

Topics of lnterest

We welcome abstracts on themes including but not limited to:

  • Crisis
  • Solidarity
  • Equality
  • Freedom
  • Protest and Conflict
  • War

Submission Guidelines: Please send a 300-word abstract to Joan Vergés Gifra at joan.verges@udg.edu by 31 March 20,26, including:

  1. Paper title
  2. Name and affiliation
  3. Contact details

Abstract may be submitted in Catalan, English or Spanish.

Review & Notific,ation: The organizing committee will review submissions, with notifications sent by 20 April 2026.
