This course, organized by the Ferrater Mora Chair at a distance and online, took place from November 24 to December 14, 2014. This was already the 17th edition of this course.

Often the best way to face the future is to take a look at the past. Therefore, it seems that the best way to ask ourselves about the values that should govern our lives at the beginning of the third millennium is to review the values that have been in force so far in order to build a new edifice of values, which is not the result of uncritical impositions but of slow and mature reflection. In this case, the values of generosity, tenderness and wisdom were discussed with the participation of the secondary school teachers Josep Maria Forné and Tono Fornés, and the University of Girona professors Joan Manuel del Pozo and Oriol Ponsatí-Murlà (coordinator), with the following program:
