Charity, empathy, compassion

This course, organized by the Ferrater Mora Chair at a distance and online, in collaboration with the philosophy portal www.terricabras.net, took place from May 20 to June 9, 2013. This was already the 14th edition of this course.

Often the best way to face the future is to take a look at the past. To this end, it seems that the best way to ask ourselves about the values that should govern our lives at the beginning of the third millennium is to review the values that have been in force up to now in order to build a new edifice of values, which is not the result of uncritical impositions but of slow and mature reflection. In this case, the values of charity, empathy and compassion were discussed with the participation of the University of Girona professors Ramon Alcoberro, Oriol Ponsatí-Murlà and Josep-Maria Terricabras, with the following program:
