This course, organised by the Ferrater Mora Chair at a distance and online, in collaboration with the philosophy portal www.terricabras-filosofia.info, took place from 15 February to 7 March 2010, with 125 students taking part.

Often the best way to face the future is to take a look at the past. Therefore, it seems that the best way to ask ourselves about the values that should govern our lives at the beginning of the third millennium is to review the values that have been in force up to now in order to build a new edifice of values, which is not the result of uncritical impositions but of slow and mature reflection. In this case (five previous courses on values had already been offered), the values of sincerity, self-esteem and daring were dealt with, with the participation of professors Manuel Delgado (University of Barcelona), Carme Triadó (University of Barcelona) and Francesc Casadesús (University of the Balearic Islands), with the following programme:
