This course, organised by the Ferrater Mora Chair at a distance and online, in collaboration with the philosophy portal www.terricabras-filosofia.info, took place from 29 June to 7 July 2009.

The aim of the course was to provide students with the tools to critically reflect on some of the values that have been valid until now and that should govern our lives in the 21st century. To this end, professors Oriol Farrés, Joan Vergés and Josep-Maria Terricabras (University of Girona), and Esteve Gràcia (University of Barcelona) took part in the course.

The course fully exceeded expectations and a total of 150 students enrolled.
