Intimacy, spontaneity and hope

As part of the series of courses “Limits and virtues of traditional values (the question of values in the 21st century)” in cooperation with the philosophy portal, the course took place from 9 to 23 February 2009 and was attended by 125 students.

Often the best way to face the future is to take a look at the past. Therefore, it seems that the best way to ask ourselves about the values that should govern our lives at the beginning of the third millennium is to review the values that have been in force up to now in order to build a new edifice of values, which is not the result of uncritical impositions but of slow and mature reflection. In this case (five previous courses on values had already been offered), the values of intimacy, spontaneity and hope were dealt with, with the participation of professors Laura Llevadot (UB), Oriol Ponsatí Murlà (UdG) and Oriol Farrés (UdG).
