Episodes of Jewish history

The cycle is an invitation to reflect on a number of very specific moments, which might seem anecdotal, but are very significant in Jewish history. The idea is that, starting from a particular event or episode, we become familiar with the contexts, reference data, causes, consequences, preliminary facts and subliminary facts that help us to understand some of the most important phenomena in the historical trajectory of the Jewish People: the foundation of the State of Israel, the process of assimilation of the European Jewish population, the Xoá or the establishment of new Jewish communities in contemporary Catalonia (click here to obtain the programme in pdf).
