Josep-Maria Terricabras, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Girona, died in April 2024. He was the founder of the Ferrater Mora Chair, a professor much-loved by generations of students (both high school and university) and an inescapable public figure in Catalan civil society in recent decades.
On October 9, the University of Girona, through the Department and Studies of Philosophy, the Faculty of Letters and the Ferrater Mora Chair itself, paid tribute to him in the Aula Magna Modest Prats of the Barri Vell campus University of Girona. Just before the event, the Terricabras Fund was inaugurated and a space in the Faculty of Letters was named after him. Read here the chronicle of the event and see the photo report.
