Lecture by Stephen Plant "Martin Luther's Big Idea: Protestant Theology and one of its Social Consequences"

On Wednesday, October 11, at 13.30h, at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Girona, Dr. Stephen Plant, from Trinity Hall at Cambridge University, gave the lecture Martin Luther’s Big Idea: Protestant Theology and one of its Social Consequences.

Dr. Stephen teaches Christian Theology and Ethics. He is the author and editor of several books, each of which deal, at least in part, with the interaction of Christian theology, ethics, and political life. Since 2009-14 he has edited the journal Theology (SPCK / SAGE). He is an Anglican priest and has worked in local ministry and as European secretary of the British Methodist Church.

The conference was organized in collaboration with FABER, the Residence of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of Catalonia, located in Olot, where Dr. Plant was doing a research stay.
