Lecture by Michiko Yusa "The Kyoto School: A Brief and Informal Introduction"

On Tuesday, September 18, at 18.00h, at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Girona, the professor of Western Washington University in the United States, Michiko Yusa, gave the lecture “The Kyoto School: A Brief and Informal Introduction”. Prof. Yusa gave a basic introduction to the Kyoto School, a Japanese philosophical school that seeks to combine Western philosophy with the spirituality born from the traditions of the Far East.

Prof. Yusa, a renowned scholar of Raimon Panikkar and a specialist in the Kyoto School of Zen Philosophy, also took advantage of her stay in Girona to consult the Raimon Panikkar Fund of the Old Town Library of the UdG.
