On 22 April 1999, the Information, Education and Business in the Digital Age intermíting, led by Mr. Manuel Campo Vidal, took place at the Ferrater Mora Chair, aimed at specialists and professionals in education, business and information, so that they could jointly face the challenges of the digital age.

The four presentations that the sociologist and journalist Mr. Campo Vidal developed were basically about:

1st lecture: main technological changes in the transmission of information
2nd paper: information management and companies
3rd presentation: the objectives of the media and education
4th presentation: challenges and possibilities of new technologies for education.
