Achille Mbembe in the Ferrater Mora Chair

Achille Mbembe, Cameroonian historian and philosopher, one of the most prominent names in contemporary political thought, will give the Ferrater Mora Lectures from April 22 to 26. In it he will address the issues of “planetary habitability” that have been key in his latest works, such as Brutalism or La communaute Terrestre.. In both works Mbembe tries to link considerations on colonialism, racism and necropolitics with broader issues related to ecology and technology.

We will soon expand on this information and open the registration period.
