Del 16 al 27 de julio, tuvo lugar en la Facultad de Letras la 1st Girona Conference on Inner Model Theory con el título “Stacking Mice and Misdemeanor”. El Congreso fue organizado conjuntamente con los profesores Ralf Schindler (Universität Münster), John Steel (Berkeley).

Este congreso, después de varias ediciones anteriores celebradas en Münster y California, reunió investigadores y estudiantes avanzados con interés en la teoría de modelos internos, a fin de comunicarse y profundizar en el trabajos recientes. Durante el congreso hubo cursos y conferencias individuales. Las sesiones tuvieron lugar de lunes a viernes, con 2,5 horas de conferencias por la mañana y 2,5 horas por la tarde, dejando tiempo suficiente para sesiones de problemas, seminarios informales y otras interacciones.
