Trias Symposium on Catalan Thinkers

For years, the Ferrater Mora Chair has participated in powerful research studies on Catalan intellectual history. Hence, the organization of some Symposiums that not only recover and disseminate the thinking of the main Catalan thinkers of the twentieth century that have now disappeared, but also reaffirm their importance from the perspective of their influence and validity. The goal is to promote the research, dissemination and vision of Catalan philosophy in general and of the main thinkers in particular. With these symposia, these scientific personalities also aim to bring closer to Catalan society the work of these authors and the influence they have had both in Catalonia and abroad with the greatest possible scientific rigor. In 2002, the first symposium, dedicated to Josep Ferrater Mora, took place.

As of this year, and in recognition of Trias Galetes-Biscuits SA’s sponsorship of the Chair, the symposia dedicated to Catalan thinkers will be called ‘Trias Symposium’.
