This course, organized by the Ferrater Mora Chair at a distance and online, in collaboration with the philosophy portal www.terricabras-filosofia.info, took place from July 10 to 22, 2006.

The course provided an introduction to the basic characteristics of political and social thought as a function of reflection on the national organization and program. It showed the different points of view of theorization and political action in contemporary Catalonia, the construction and assumption of the nationalist discourse, and showed the proposals of national vindication and liberation from their incarnation in different characters, from nationalism to independentism, without ignoring the context in which these characters and their works move.

The professors who taught the course were Joan Cuscó and Josep-Maria Terricabras.
